Pat Moore, PGCE Science Lead at Sheffield Hallam University, will be returning after her successful online webinar last week with a session on Thursday 4 November at 4pm. Entitled 'how to support new and trainee teachers in school', the seminar will focus
on how ITT and ECT mentors can provide the best support to their mentees.
She will look at how mentors can help new teachers meet the Teachers' Standards and how to get other staff members to support the trainee. After the presentation there will be an opportunity to join in a discussion with Pat and other attendees to share ideas. Much of the talk is applicable to all subject teachers, however it will be focussed on secondary Science.
