King's College London is pleased to offer the STEM Education Teacher Scholarship, worth up to 70% of 15 students' tuition fees commencing September 2022.

What is the STEM Education Teacher Scholarship?

The STEM Education Teacher Scholarship is funded by Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company. Wipro highly value STEM educators seeing them as key to the future of innovative STEM learning in schools.

The scholarship is available to students studying on the MA in STEM Education programme who are working in a state-funded school in England (e.g. comprehensive, academy, free school). This includes primary, secondary and FE-levels. They should be a specialist teacher in: Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Design & Technology or Geography and have been teaching for a minimum of 6 months on application.

Why study for an MA in STEM Education?

The MA in STEM Education welcomes students seeking the knowledge and skills to drive educational change in response to our increasingly technological and science-rich world. The MA in STEM will provide a national, international and practically-oriented understanding of the ways in which core debates across formal and informal STEM education can shape responses to pressing social and environmental questions. Through an examination of policy, curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, the programme addresses issues including: equity, social justice, economic growth, climate change and sustainability. The programme encourages collaborative working, building professional networks and asking research questions pertinent to your own contexts and challenges.

What module options are there?

There is a diverse range of pathways for your study. You can also transfer in PGCE M-level credits into the programme. See here for a list of modules.

Find out more here on how to apply for the programme and for the Scholarship (closing date: 27th June 2022).
