Superbugs: Join the Fight!

Superbugs: Join the Fight! is initiated and funded by Pfizer.

Superbugs: Join the Fight! is a free education programme full of easy-to-use resources and e-learning modules. Make the topics of Superbugs, Viruses & Pandemics and Vaccines accessible to all. Download your free resources and support pupils in helping to combat the spread of disease! Suitable for ages 5-14.

Explore real-world topics

You don’t have to be a scientific whizz to help pupils understand how they can reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Why not begin with the easy-to-use Programme Planner before running a lesson? The simple programme tool will help you decide how the content can work for you. After that, use the curriculum-linked lessons and flexible extension activities. We have something to cover Key Stages 1, 2 and 3!

Whole school engagement

Why not kick-off Superbugs: Join the Fight! with the ready-to-go assembly presentation? Engage the whole school with fun facts and interesting quizzes. Then further pupil’s learning in the classroom with lesson plans and activity sheets. There are even homework tasks to help consolidate what they have discovered!

Exciting competition

Take part in this year’s competition to win an exciting school workshop! Encourage pupils to discover how they can combat superbugs, then challenge them to spread the word. Can they design the best poster showing how we can all take action to combat superbugs?

These resources have already helped more than 370,000 learners!1 Join thousands of teachers already using the programme and download your free resources today. Then help pupils understand the important role they play in keeping the word healthy.

Modules include:

  • Superbugs – Discover how superbugs are becoming resistant to antibiotics and then how pupils can help in the fight against them.
  • Viruses and Pandemics – Help pupils make sense of the world around them with this e-learning module.
  • Vaccines – KS3 students can explore what vaccines are and how they work before discovering why they are so important.

Teachers - find out more and register here - the deadline for the competition is May 5.
