The Royal Society of Biology’s BioArtAttack (2D) 2023 (Formerly The Nancy Rothwell Award) is a children’s 2D art drawing and painting competition for 7 – 18 year olds to draw or paint their favourite animal, plant or fungi. The competition is now open for submissions until 29th July, and prizes include £50 for winning students. Visit the Royal Society of Biology’s website for more information. Posters are available to download in a chameleon and a penguin design.

RSB’s Photography Competition 2023

‘Nature and Climate’ is the theme of this year’s Royal Society of Biology Photography Competition. Life on Earth is affected by the climate, weather and seasonal changes and this year we invite you to capture this. The competition has two entry categories, each with a cash prize: 18 year olds and over (£1000) and under 18 year olds (£500). Submit up to three images by 27th June. Posters are available to download in a polar bear, red soldier beetle, or abstract dysticus beetle design.
