The Design and Technology Association Excellence Awards started in 1999 by the Design and Technology Association Trustees and it gives recognition to individuals nominated by their colleagues or teachers for their inspirational contribution towards design and technology.
To celebrate the whole reach of the subject, there are 12 categories that you can choose from to nominate a colleague, pupil or industry partner.
There are categories for primary and secondary teachers, D&T support staff, D&T department, educational research and industry engagement. There are special awards for pupils of all ages, as they deserve more recognition and motivation while fulfilling their D&T academic journey.
This year the prestigious awards ceremony will take place at the Concorde Hangar at Aerospace Bristol on Friday 13 October.
Nominations are now open and close on 12 June.
