On Friday we were delighted to welcome the UK Space Agency on a visit here at the National STEM Learning Centre. They’ve been a fantastic long-term supporter of STEM Learning, through funding for the European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO-UK). It was great to be able to hear their chief executive, Paul Bate’s, long term vision for the agency and the importance he places on education and inspiration.
In the short video below Paul speaks from the National STEM Learning Centre about the importance of our partnerships and in championing space to the next generation.
One of the most interesting parts of the meeting was being asked by Paul what more the UK Space Agency could be doing to support teachers and schools across the UK. I would love to hear from members of the community on what you think they should be doing more of. I’ll be meeting Paul again in December and will share your suggestions with him then.
