This offer is for a fun and interactive activity that will boost knowledge of the energy field amongst students and overcome the barrier sometimes faced related to the lack of clarity of the real world applications of the science being taught in school. The work and experiences of BAME scientists and engineers that work in the energy industry will be highlighted and this activity will facilitate a video discussion experience between the STEM professionals and students. Students will be empowered to ask the big questions and BAME scientists and engineers can respond directly to the comments and questions posed. They will develop their communication and research skills as they are able to discover more about job roles, backgrounds and experiences to inspire ambitions.
