Are you looking for inspiration to help you teach computing this autumn? The National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) has collated some quick and easy welcome back tips for primary and secondary teachers from our comprehensive range of support to help you start the new school year off right.

Highlights:

  • Kick-start your lesson planning with the Teach Computing Curriculum, with over 500 hours of free curriculum resources, including slides, worksheets, homework and assessment.
  • Develop your understanding of a specific topic or improve your pedagogical practice through professional development, with free or low-cost computing courses for teachers in state-funded schools or colleges. For non-specialists, there is live remote CPD available to book during staff training days in September.
  • Loan brand new physical computing kits for your school through the NCCE's network of Computing Hubs to help your students learn how to build physical projects controlled with computers.
