Welcome back – hope you had a lovely half term break. We've got some really exciting news to share with you - STEM Community is getting a new look!
We know we've been a bit quiet recently – we've been upgrading the site to make it easier and more enjoyable for you to get involved in discussions and share great resources and ideas. It will be a more dynamic user experience with a personalised activity feed (similar to LinkedIn) with content based on your groups and likes, it also allows you to like and comment on posts directly from the feed.
This means it's even more important to complete your profile so the content you receive is most relevant to you - so while you’re there, why not add a mug shot/favourite view/pet?!
In addition we're improving the email experience. Next week you'll be unsubscribed from all email digests, and will instead receive a personalised weekly round-up of the activity in all of your groups. As you join new groups, you will be given the option to receive additional emails. Please click 'no email' if you wish to only receive the round-up. If you'd like to receive more regular updates for activity in your groups, you can re-activate digest emails in your Community Notifications.
We'll be switching on the new Community next Wednesday 14 June! Keep an eye on the Community homepage and follow @STEMLearningUK for updates - we'll drop you another email when the refreshed site is live.
