As the curtains close on our "Capturing Summer STEM in Action" photo competition, we want to take a moment to express our thanks to each of you who participated. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for STEM was clear through the captivating photographs you submitted.

The objective of this competition was to explore and document the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics during the summer season. And you all exceeded our expectations! From the forces interacting on iconic structures to the intricate details of nature, technology, and experiments, your submissions truly showcased the beauty, diversity, and real-world applications of STEM subjects.

To all the photographers, thank you for sharing your unique perspectives and for bringing the theme "Summer STEM in Action" to life. Your contributions not only highlighted the significance of STEM in our daily lives but also inspired many in our community to view the world through a different lens.

I’d also like to say a massive thank you to all of you who popped in over the last couple of days to ‘Like’ your favourite entries, the top 5 were passed over to the STEM Learning Executive Team for their input then ranked 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honourable mentions. I am delighted to announce that:

1st Prize: @Gordon Taylor

2nd Prize: @Gail Bosley

3rd Prize: @James Marriott

Honourable Mention: @Laura Knowles

Honourable Mention: @Graham John Jeffery

I will be in touch will winners directly next week to sort prizes and their delivery. Once again, a massive thank you to all involved, keep an eye out for our autumn term competition which will be coming soon!

If you have any ideas for competitions that we can run on the community, you can drop me a message or email t.bradbury@stem.org.uk. Just remember it must be accessible to all and nationwide.

Once again, thank you for making this competition a grand success. Your participation has truly made a difference to the vibrancy of our community, and we look forward to seeing more of your creativity in future STEM events.

All the best,

Tim Bradbury
STEM Community Manager.

Congratulations to the winners and mentions 🎉🎉🎉

It would be lovely if you could show us the images that won so we don't have to trek through the vast amount of thread replies on the original competition post.

This was such a fun competition and I will be looking forward to the next one 😁
