Important update for those with upcoming STEM Ambassador activities

  

Hello, 

We’re excited to let you know that our new STEM Ambassadors platform will be launching in the next few weeks! 

As you may have an activity scheduled during this time, here’s what you need to know: 

Platform downtime 

The current platform will be offline from 4pm on Wednesday 23rd July – 9am on Friday 1st August while we get ready to make the switch. Thanks for your patience during this time. 

What this means for your activity 

Any activity you’ve arranged with a STEM Ambassador will still go ahead as planned, but you won’t be able to access the platform during the downtime. This includes messaging Ambassadors or viewing activity details. 

If you need to stay in touch with an Ambassador during this time, we recommend reaching out now to exchange contact details, such as email addresses, so you can stay connected while the platform is unavailable. 

Support during launch 

Our support team will be available, but response times may be slower than usual around launch. Please note that we also won’t have full access to the platform during this time, so we might not be able to retrieve any data from it for you.

Training for the new platform 

Join one of our training sessions to find out more about the new STEM Ambassadors platform. You will be shown how to post requests for Ambassadors, browse activities offered by Ambassadors and other key features. You can sign up for a training session here.

Hi Maurice,

Yes, all your volunteering and profile details will be carried over. In some cases, the selections on the old platform and new platforms are slightly different - we’ve made a best attempt to transfer your details to the correct new category, but please do check this when you get access to the new platform.

Thanks for this update. Will our data be automatically migrated or do we need to re-enable memberships et al?
