I am a Business Intelligence professional working at the intersection of data, technology, and the energy transition. With a background in languages and a PhD in Teaching English focused on coherence and academic writing, I spent 25 years in education before transitioning into tech and completing an MSc in Software Technology and Business Intelligence.
I now work in Business Intelligence within the energy sector, where I focus on improving data governance, reporting quality, collaboration, and performance optimisation. I am passionate about making complex data accessible, meaningful, and actionable for decision-makers.
Alongside my technical work, I actively mentor students and early-career professionals and advocate for women in technology. I enjoy demonstrating how analytical thinking, communication skills, and creativity can coexist in STEM careers.
Outside work, I play the Setar (a traditional Iranian instrument), enjoy tennis, and remain deeply interested in education, lifelong learning, and empowering others to find their path in STEM.
