Helen Rose wins IOP 2025 School and Further Education Technician Award

We are thrilled to celebrate @Helen Rose, winner of the Institute of Physics 2025 School and Further Education Technician Award.

Helen leads the professional development and training programme for technicians at the National STEM Learning Centre. Over a 36-year career she has built an incredible depth of technical expertise, developed innovative training programmes and inspired thousands of technicians and teachers nationwide. Her passion for physics, commitment to professional development and ability to adapt to new challenges, from online delivery to new technologies, have made a lasting difference to science education.

This award recognises the impact Helen has had on the technician community and the many teachers who benefit from her work every day.
