Each of these covers seven educational domains which we consider to be the key features of great science teaching, such as subject knowledge, assessment and real world contexts, and also signposts further targeted materials on areas such as SEND, transition and tutoring.

We hope that the pick and mix approach will support schools. The seven strands of what we consider to be great science teaching are an adaptation of the EEF's Improving Secondary Science report, and we have threaded key courses and resources through these for each phase. In addition, we have signposted the resources for the relevant target groups that have been highlighted as potentially needing support
