Coming soon..

This month our Focus is Sustainability:

This March, our Focus of the Month turns to Sustainability and Climate. Across STEM subjects, sustainability is no longer a bolt on topic. It is central to helping young people understand the challenges facing our world and the role science, technology, engineering and maths play in addressing them.

Throughout the month, we will be sharing classroom ideas, curriculum links and practical resources to help you embed sustainability meaningfully into your teaching. From energy and materials to biodiversity, climate systems and sustainable design, we will explore how STEM lessons can connect knowledge to real world impact.

We will also be hosting a special STEM Community Live: AI Sprint – AI and the Impact on the Environment (16/3/26 4-5pm), where we will examine the environmental footprint of AI technologies, the role of data centres and energy use, and how AI can also be part of the solution. It promises to be a thought provoking session that links digital innovation with environmental responsibility.

As always, we would love to hear how you are addressing sustainability in your setting. Join the conversation and share what works in your classroom.

AI Sprints Season 2 is now live

Season 1 of AI Sprints brought trusted voices together for live, classroom-first conversations on AI—covering intentional leadership, trustworthy assessment (and its limits), equity and the “third digital divide,” and practical wins such as AI-supported feedback loops and SEND-friendly tools.

The key message for teachers was clear: keep the human firmly in the loop, teach critical AI literacy, use evidence, and apply AI where it clearly improves learning—safely, fairly, and with professional judgement at the centre.

You can still catch up on all Season 1 sessions on demand and take ready-to-use ideas straight into your classroom.
