One powerful way to enhance your student’s educational journey and help them consider their next steps is by getting them involved in STEM Learning’s online mentoring programme.

Here's why this initiative is a game-changer for your students:

STEM Learning’s online mentoring programme connects students with mentors who are passionate about their fields. These mentors provide personalized guidance, helping students navigate their academic and career paths. This one-on-one interaction allows students to gain insights into real-world applications of STEM subjects, making their learning experience more relevant and engaging.

As well as the one-to-one personalised support, students will also be given the opportunity to speak with multiple mentors on the platform, with experience in a sector of interest to them. Students will also benefit from access to resources to help them make informed decisions about their future and cover topics such as:

  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Job hunting, applications and interviews
  • Study skills
  • Money, housing and independent living

Your support is vital in encouraging students to take advantage of opportunities like STEM Learning’s Online Mentoring programme. By doing so, you are not only enhancing their educational experience but also preparing them for a successful future in STEM. As an educator, you can either direct students to sign up to this programme themselves, via this link. Or you can easily sign up a whole group of students via this registration form.

The next mentoring cycle will run for 10 weeks from the 7th of October to the 16th of December. Student registration closes on the 30th of September. You can find out more information here: Online Mentoring (stem.org.uk)

Encourage your students to join the programme today and watch them thrive in the exciting world of STEM!
