Are you ready to make your educational displays "take flight"? This is your chance to showcase your creativity and educational prowess in our classroom display competition and win TWO TICKETS to the world-renowned Farnborough International Airshow where you will be hosted at the exclusive Dassault Systemes Chalet. 

Theme: "Educational Impact of Classroom Displays"
Prizes: Two tickets to Farnborough International Airshow hosted by Dassault Systèmes at their chalet on Friday 26^th July 2024 including train travel plus the opportunity to take part in a ‘Fireside Chat’ about STEM Engagement. 

Second Place: STEM Community SWAG Bag

Honourable Mentions: Notepad and recognition on the competition website and social media platforms.

How to Enter

1. Design: Create a high impact classroom or lab display that effectively supports STEM education.
2. Photograph: Take a photo of your display.
3. Submit: Upload your photo to the thread linked below with a brief description (150 words or less) detailing the educational impact of your display.

Guidelines for an Impactful Wall Display

A great classroom display could:

1. Enhance Learning:
• Include clear and concise information that complements the curriculum.
• Use visual aids like charts, diagrams, and models to clarify complex concepts.
2. Engage Students:
• Capture student interest with interactive elements and thought-provoking questions.
• Encourage student interaction and participation in the learning process.
3. Support Retention:
• Display key vocabulary and important concepts prominently.
• Use memory aids such as mnemonics and visual summaries.
4. Showcase Student Work:
• Include examples of student projects and achievements.
• Create a sense of ownership and pride among students by displaying their work.
5. Create a Positive Learning Environment:
• Use positive messages and inclusive content to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ensure the display is accessible to all students, accommodating diverse learning needs.

Submission Details

• Deadline: Submissions must be received by 28^th June 2024.
• Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on creativity, educational value, engagement, and overall impact.
• Winners Announced: Winners will be announced on 8^th July 2024.
