Hi Tim,

The sharing of good practice between teachers seems to have become a thing of the past.  When I started teaching there were HoD local meetings and a number of local subject groups, but today with restrictions on 'cover' and buget constraints  even specialist subject specfic CPD is a problem.

Perhaps a solution is an on-line collaboration using the Content Representation format developed by Loughran et al in Australia.  These are not easy to complete, even for an experienced teacher, but they do establish a focus for both content and pedagogy.

I have used these with PGCE trainees and with new HoDs looking to support NQTs and RQTs.  I am happy to share an example to get the ball rolling.

It is really pleasing to see that T Levels are been given a chance with sensible adjustments.  They are an important tool for parity of esteem while raising standards.
