Demand for STEM skills is growing but there is a lack of STEM specialists – particularly engineers and people with an engineering background – to meet this demand.

Engineering offers so many exciting and rewarding opportunities. Engineers play a key role in addressing ongoing global challenges - and demand for such skilled professionals is only going to increase.

While building future talent, it is also vital to overcome issues such as lack of diversity in the sector, and to promote access to women and young people from underrepresented communities into the world of engineering in order to bridge the intergenerational skills gap.

What challenges does becoming an Associate answer?

Our qualifications touch upon some specialised and niche skills and specialisms and this is where we need your help to grow the future generation of qualified engineers in these areas.
