This one-day event celebrates the power of games—tabletop, digital, and role-playing—as tools for addressing the climate and ecological crises. Join us to:
- 🎓 Link research and practice in environmental gaming.
- 🎨 Share your experience in designing or researching games with an environmental twist.
- 🛠️ Learn how to start using games for education and public engagement.
- 🤝 Connect with others, play (with) your ideas, and imagine new directions for environmental communication.
How to Get Involved: Influence our adventure in one (or more!) of these four ways:
- 1️⃣ Research Blast: Share your work with a 3-minute, 1-slide presentation to spark post-blast discussions.
- 📅 Abstract deadline: 12:00 noon, 17th January 2025
- 2️⃣ World Café Question: Propose a question for group discussions—design challenges, ethics, or anything you’d like to explore.
- 3️⃣ Game Speed Intro: Showcase a game you’ve been designing, researching, or playing.
- 4️⃣ Participate: Bring your ideas, enthusiasm, and curiosity to a day of exploration and collaboration.
